Our Mission

The Harrisburg Community Library is a welcoming environment that connects the community to enriching informational, educational, recreational, and entertainment resources.

Library Closures

The library will be closed Saturday, June 14 for Harrisburg Days.  We will reopen for our normal hours on Monday, June 16 at 10am.

The library will be closed Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.  We will reopen for our normal hours on Friday, June 20 at 10am.

As always, no fines will accrue while we are closed.  Thank you!

Try our HCL Personalized Reading Recommendations service!  We want to help you find your next great read.  Fill out the form, and one of our librarians will email you back with 3 recommendations of books we have in our collection.  Happy reading!

Interlibrary Loan Request Form

If we do not currently have an item in our collection, current cardholders can place a request here to receive an item through Interlibrary Loan.  Interlibrary Loan allows library cardholders to borrow materials from libraries around the country.  Please keep in mind that it usually takes 1 to 3 weeks to get your items.
